Arrival and go or no-go
Driver meets you at Terminal 1. Repeat EKG and labs. If anything has moved, dosing waits or is declined. The deposit rule still applies.
Day 3
Dosing session
Continuous ECG and pulse oximetry. Physician and ACLS-trained nurse in the room. Crash cart present. Oxygen at the bedside.
Day 4 to 7
Telemetry and recovery
Overnight monitoring, morning EKG, daily physician rounds. Written summary for your doctor at home before discharge.
Day 8 to 90
Followed
Weekly calls to day 30, then day 45, 60 and 90 from a named coordinator. Referral list of US clinicians near you.

Is ibogaine treatment legal in Mexico?
Yes. Ibogaine is not a controlled substance in Mexico, so it can be given in a licensed medical facility. It is Schedule I in the United States, which is why US patients travel for treatment.
What does ibogaine treatment cost in Mexico?
Our 7-day program is one itemised price of $12,500. A deposit reserves a screening slot and is refunded in full if a physician declines you. The balance is due 14 days before travel. We never take payment before screening.
What are the cardiac risks?
Ibogaine slows cardiac conduction and can prolong the QT interval. That is a real risk and we do not call this treatment safe. We screen it on paper before you travel, correct electrolytes first, monitor continuously through the session, and hold a written transfer agreement with a private hospital 9 minutes away.
Who will be caring for me, day and night?
A cardiologist reads your EKG and is in the room for dosing. An emergency physician signs the screening decision and runs the transfer protocol. A psychiatrist plans washout and follow-up. An ACLS-trained nurse is on site around the clock. Every name and cédula number is in your screening pack before you pay a deposit.
I am on Suboxone or methadone. Can I be treated?
Often yes, after a washout our physician plans with you. Long-acting opioids have to be out of the system before dosing, and that timeline is part of screening, not an afterthought.
Does the altitude in Mexico City matter?
Mexico City sits at 2,230 m. Above 2,000 m, oxygen saturation runs a little lower for everyone, so we keep supplemental oxygen at the bedside and use it if saturation falls below 92%.
Can I come with my son, daughter or spouse?
Yes. Family are part of screening and part of the 90-day follow-up. Most of the people who contact us are the parent or partner, not the patient.
Is Mexico City safe to travel to?
Mexico City carries a Level 2 US State Department advisory, the same level as most of Western Europe and lower than Baja California, Morelos or Jalisco at Level 3. A private driver meets you at MEX Terminal 1 with a name card.
